You can take it with you! With just a few clicks on an iPhone, users can find nearby homes for sale, announced Trulia.com, a real estate search engine. The free application uses navigation technology to find properties that match the user's location; then provides detailed property searches, color photos and open house information.
In addition, Trulia's phone application delivers homes for sale and open house information directly to a smartphone, whether it's BlackBerry, Blackjack, Sony Ericsson or Nokia.
According to an article on businessweek.com, Trulia is not alone. FrontDoor.com says it will introduce an iPhone application later this year that not only searches nearby listings, but also integrates video and information about what it's like to live in a given neighborhood. And, says Business Week, StreetEasy.com's iPhone application provides location-based for-sale listing information for New York City.
